Promotional Candies For Armed Forces Day

Soldiers are modern day heroes. They risk their lives in order to serve and protect the country where they live. That is why it is every parent’s pride to send their sons into military schools in order to be officers someday. Nowadays, we can even see women entering the armed forces because it is a noble job.

Ahead of the celebration of Armed Forces Day, the different services of the military went around the different states as part of their recruitment. I saw one Army officer approaching a group of teenagers to give away promotional candies. Another group of soldiers went inside the nearby sports facility distributing golf tees with logos.

At first, one would think that there is a military coup taking place but the arrival of the soldiers was a yearly event and people are already aware of it. That is why it did not come as a surprise for soldiers to knock at every door giving promotional home gifts to every house. I even saw one soldier give mini flashlights cheap.

Part of the recruitment orientation was a visit to different educational institutions in the different states. One army unit even conducted a symposium on being a soldier. While the speaker was busy, other soldiers were handing out promotional pens and pencils. The principal of the school received personalized clipboards.
